Liz Sfeir

Owner

Liz Sfeir, owner, launched Well Done Catering more than 20 years ago, knowing she could provide delicious foods, as well as create stylish and tasteful events, custom-made for her clients. Liz received her BA in Marketing at Tiffin University in 1991. After graduation she worked in Sales & Catering for the Hyatt Corporation for 8 years. This career path cultivated her interest in catering and motivated her to go out on her own. Dedicated to staying with current food trends and flavors, Liz attends many advanced catering and food cooking classes and seminars and is an active member of the ICA (International Caterers Association).

Liz is anything but your typical caterer. Somewhere along her culinary journey, she developed her signature line of Gourmet Brie. Her concept of a catered quality appetizer that can be frozen, prepared and ready for any party.

She managed her dynamic catering business from her commercially licensed home kitchen, while raising three beautiful children with her husband David, it was obvious that WDC needed a space of its own.

In March of 2014, Liz and her team moved into their new culinary home on Center Ridge Rd. in Westlake, giving them a commercial kitchen and event space that is rentable for her valued clients.

"Food and presentation is who I am...spending time around a table creating memories and bonds is what I live for."

-Liz

At the heart of Well Done Catering is our founder and owner, Liz Sfeir. Liz brings a sophisticated blend of culinary artistry, corporate hospitality experience, and meticulous event coordination to the Northeast Ohio catering landscape. She launched Well Done Catering over 20 years ago with a distinct vision: to transcend ordinary food service by designing stylish, tasteful, and deeply memorable events custom-tailored to her clients' unique stories. Liz operates on the profound belief that dining is an experiential anchor, famously noting, "Food and presentation is who I am... spending time around a table creating memories and bonds is what I live for."

Liz’s journey to becoming a premier culinary entrepreneur began with a solid academic foundation, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Tiffin University. Following graduation, she spent eight transformative years working in high-stakes Sales & Catering management for the prestigious Hyatt Corporation. Immersed in the world of luxury hospitality, Liz perfected the complex discipline of event logistics, elite client relations, and large-scale operational coordination. This elite training ground sharpened her focus on the critical, fine-line details that dictate event success, inspiring her to break away from the corporate landscape to build her own boutique culinary brand.

Over Two Decades of Culinary Innovation, Specialized Brie Crafting, and State-of-the-Art Venue Management

Under Liz's visionary leadership, Well Done Catering has evolved from a passionate independent venture into a regional force for premium event execution. To ensure her menus remain at the absolute forefront of contemporary flavor profiles, Liz continuously participates in advanced culinary cooking seminars, masterclasses, and international flavor forums. Her high standing in the professional food service community is solidified by her active memberships in the Catering Association of America and the International Caterers Association (ICA), which keeps her at the absolute cutting edge of modern food presentation, safety, and logistical systems.

Liz is celebrated across the industry for her distinct, artistic approach to menus, notably developing a highly successful, signature line of artisanal Gourmet Brie. This innovative concept provides a host with a catered, premium-quality appetizer that can be perfectly frozen and effortlessly baked to order, bringing upscale cocktail-party elegance directly to any setting. As the business rapidly expanded out of her licensed home kitchen, Liz achieved a major corporate milestone by designing and opening a state-of-the-art commercial production facility and rentable event space on Center Ridge Road in Westlake, offering clients a gorgeous, dedicated venue paired with an elite-tier catering engine.

A Dedicated Family Woman Rooted in Community and Culinary Design

When she steps away from the chef's line, custom menu planning, and active corporate events, Liz is a deeply dedicated family woman. She managed the early, high-energy growth of her commercial catering empire while raising three beautiful children alongside her husband, David. Navigating the demanding balance of a multi-faceted family life and an expanding corporate entity has instilled in Liz an extraordinary level of patience, time management, and empathetic communication—qualities that translate directly into how she respects and treats her catering clients.

For Liz, every wedding reception, corporate gala, or intimate family gathering is a blank canvas requiring absolute precision. She does not look at events as simple line-item invoices; she views them as opportunities to curate life-long memories for local families and businesses. Her deep passion for flawless presentation, paired with her multi-generational neighborhood pride and corporate-trained background, ensures that the trust clients place in Well Done Catering remains completely unshakeable.
